Well, I officially have a legitimate reason to write about my music. It has been some time since I last had anything noteworthy regarding my tunes but the time has finally arrived!
Lately, I have joined several new site applications such as Imeem, Virb, last.fm, SonicBids, etc. I never realized until now how many different avenues there are on the internet to listen to underground/unsigned music. It truly is amazing.
I’m also in the process of updating my Official Page (robmichaelmusic.com) to something more user-friendly along with drastically updating my Myspace (myspace.com/robmichael) which will be more flashy and appealing to visitors. Making revisions and checking all of my accounts has become a full-time job but I’m more than happy to accept the challenge as this is something I love doing.
Kennedy’s Camp Vamp studio is now complete and ready for business so I now have the opportunity to stop in and work with him on a weekly basis. He is a terrific producer and has some excellent equipment so I look forward to getting some new tracks together soon.
Things really are starting to piece together and in a couple of weeks, all of my sites should be fully updated, functional, and most importantly, professional. It’s nice to consider yourself a musician, which I do, but it’s also nice to do it professionally and have everything done the right way.
